Once I programmed it, it infrequently recognized the "please call" command which is supposed to wake it up and have it ask you "who do you want to call". The description advertises that you don't even have to be close to the phone to wake it up but I was talking right into it from a foot away. When it did respond and I would tell it the name that I wanted to call it would say it was calling a different one. I purchased this for my visually impaired mother but I couldn't even get it to work for myself. I did try programming it with her voice as well as my voice and it still didn't work. However, I am tech savvy and had no problem programming it but this phone just does not work. Other phones I saw online were much more expensive. I ended up getting her an inexpensive smartphone and, although she does not see well, she is able to find and push the button on the side to wake it up, swipe the screen and touch where the Google microphone is and ask it to make a call.
